Artist/Writer

Ava Amedi is a writer, musician and artist. He makes  cultural criticism, pop-music, artist interviews and non-fiction. He strives to make work that has a visceral resonance with audiences.  

During a recent artist residency at Testing Grounds, Ava self-produced the ‘Where Are You Now?’ Project - offering intimate scale interviews for artists to reflect on their practises. His recent work has been made with the support of Arts House, The Australian Centre for Contemporary Art, Liminal, Un Projects and Djed Press. His music is in development.
